Hello club members. My name is Holly Malewski, I am the director of the Icettes and the Livonia Learn to Skate USA Program.
I am a proud Livonia resident who joined this organization during the 2015 season as the director of basic skills and synchronized skating with a five year goal in mind. The goal included growing our synchro and basic programs, advancing our teams to the qualifying levels and becoming a US Figure Skating Club. Proudly we have reached these goals and look forward to raising the bar with our wonderful Board of Directors, coaches and membership.
Prior to coaching, I was a singles, dance and synchronized skater. Since 1985, I have coached figures, moves, freestyle, power/edge, choreography and synchronized skating. A brief snapshot of my coaching resume follows.

Coaching Experience:
Provide group and private lessons for over 22 years to all ages and levels; Learn-to-Skate basic skills through U.S. Figure Skating senior moves in the field and free skate. Coached 150+ private students at the Cities of Livonia (1997-2007, 2017-present) and Farmington Hills Ice Arenas. Successfully coached skaters through senior level moves in the field and senior free skate; putting out 179 tests with 93% passing rate. Choreograph groups and solos for annual/bi-annual ice shows. Co-teach with other USFS coaches as needed.

My name is Victoria Lebryk and I am a chemical engineering major at Wayne State University. I have been in love with figure skating since the age of 2. I skated for the Crystallette Team, USA Senior Synchronized Skating team for 3 years. I have been coaching for 5 years now and have coached the Livonia Icettes Synchro Skills 1 team for 3 years and will be going on my fourth.

Hello, my name is Lauren McAlinden.
My coaching philosophy is for my skaters to develop a love for the sport of figure skating with a drive for consistent improvement each time they step on the ice.
I grew up skating in Livonia and Plymouth. In college I was the Vice President of the Michigan Skate Intercollegiate Figure Skating team and I competed in the collegiate level on Michigan State’s Synchronized skating team where I earned a National Bronze medal. Since graduating college, I have become an Elementary School Teacher in Livonia Public Schools from 2019-present and a Skating Coach 2018-present at Eddie Edgar. I started coaching the Livonia Icettes in 2018 and I have coached at the Aspire 2, Aspire 3, and Preliminary levels.
My Qualifications and Experience:
-coached private lessons since the start of 2018 and taken skaters to individual competitions including: High School States, Basic Skills Competitions, and passed skating skills and freestyle tests
-coached an undefeated synchronized skating team, other teams with multiple 1st place finishes, and a Preliminary team that competed at the USFSA Sectional Championships
-coached the Livonia High School Figure Skating team since 2022 with top first, second, and third place finishes
-skated on teams earning 3 National USFSA medals including a gold, silver, and bronze
-Passed my Gold Skating Skills Test
-I have been a member of the Professional Skating Association since 2019 and have my USFSA Coaching C.O.R.E. certification
